Quality & measurement

Success we can
actually check.

Clear tasks, observable outcomes, and a handoff that makes the standard explicit.

Five acceptance tasks.

01

Find family support

A participant finds a relevant support resource, identifies its language and destination, and explains the next step.

How we verify: Observed task test on mobile with a parent or caregiver.

Prototype journey available; participant testing planned.
02

Choose an activity

A parent reaches an age-appropriate sample activity and can use its instructions and print view.

How we verify: Keyboard and mobile task test; subject-matter review of content.

Sample journey available; full collection scope agreed in discovery.
03

Locate a report

A partner identifies the report date and source and follows the correct document link.

How we verify: Report journey test, link validation, and accessible-format review.

Prototype route available; document audit planned.
04

Publish independently

A trained staff member creates an event, adds a resource, and replaces a report without developer assistance.

How we verify: Observed production CMS publishing session, preview, and revision restore.

Interactive publishing prototype provided; production CMS and training planned.
05

Launch reliably

Agreed accessibility issues are resolved; key redirects, forms, backups, analytics, and rollback are verified.

How we verify: Signed acceptance checklist and documented exceptions.

Production acceptance gate; not claimed complete by this concept.

Measurement plan

Useful questions.
Honest signals.

Production analytics will be configured in agency-owned accounts during implementation. The events below describe the proposed production setup. This review site separately records limited proposal views and link clicks; it does not measure service delivery or identify individual evaluators.

resource_open

Which resources are people choosing?

Count when: Opening a resource detail or approved external resource link.

Useful dimensions: Resource ID, topic, language, destination type

An opening does not establish that a family received a service.
activity_view

Which Kid Builders activities are useful?

Count when: Viewing an activity detail.

Useful dimensions: Activity ID, selected age group, developmental area

Activity views are not measures of child development.
report_download

Which evidence do partners seek?

Count when: Clicking a report download.

Useful dimensions: Report ID, publication year, format

A click does not establish a completed download or reading.
event_registration_click

Which events prompt interest?

Count when: Following an external registration link.

Useful dimensions: Event ID, audience, destination

Registration completion is counted only when the provider confirms it.
newsletter_signup_success

Are visitors joining the right updates?

Count when: The email platform confirms a successful signup.

Useful dimensions: Audience preference, source page

Do not count button clicks as successful subscriptions.
search_no_results

Where is the content failing to help?

Count when: A submitted search returns no results.

Useful dimensions: Approved category and page only

Do not collect raw search text, which may contain sensitive information.

Launch evidence

A handoff
with receipts.

  • Keyboard, screen-reader, contrast, zoom/reflow, and reduced-motion checks against the agreed accessibility target.
  • Representative mobile performance results with device and network conditions recorded.
  • Important old URLs individually mapped and tested; no blanket homepage redirects.
  • Forms tested from submission through provider confirmation, including failure states.
  • Agency-owned hosting and admin access, documented backups, a restore test, and a rollback plan.
  • Staff publishing acceptance, training recordings, a task guide, and known limitations.

Automated checks cover the concept’s rendering, translations, filtering, and analytics logic. This revision still needs browser and assistive-technology review. Production accessibility conformance, migration, and integration acceptance remain delivery work.
