Describe Five!
Five clues can turn the things around you into a guessing game.
Start with a little play.
Pick something to describe.
Choose an object in the room or outside. Keep its name a secret for now.
Offer five clues.
Describe its color, shape, texture, or what it does. Add another clue if your child needs help.
Trade places.
Let your child choose an object and give you the clues. You can draw the objects afterward and talk about the words you used.
